TEXAS SALES TAX PERMIT
The Texas State Comptroller has made it mandatory for all show promoters to be responsible for each vendor having a valid Texas sales tax permit. Whether you are in Texas or in another state you must have this permit or you can not setup at the show. The comptroller will come in to check your permits and fine us and you for not having one. Please include your sales tax number, name and address on your permit with payment. To obtain a Texas sales tax number go to: http://www.window.state.tx.us.
On the right side of the page, click on Tax Registration, then begin. There is no fee to obtain the Sales & Use Tax Permit. The NAICS code number for vendors is: 454390.
It will be necessary for you to display the Sales & Use Tax Permit on your table during the show.
